Early in the morning 

Late at night 

Two dead boys 

Got up to fight  

Back to back they faced each other 

Drew the sword and pulled the trigger 

A deaf policeman heard the noise 

And shot and killed the two dead boys  

A paralysed donkey came strolling by 

And kicked the policeman in his left right eye
